Prophet - A Modern Conundrum

Wealth and Equiment

Characters begin with basic starting resources commensurate with what the average 21st Century person in their position would possess. None of the characters are technically homeless or live on the streets unless they choose to and this is only an option for those with a “Street Education” or those who took the Medical Discharge Military Career option. Those at the lower end of the social scale either “rent” a room or have secured hostel place, and can get at least 1 decent meal a day.

In many ways how you define your character in terms of age, marital status, dependents, and such like affects where and how you live, but comes with the added complication that these impose on your life.

All characters get to make 1 roll on the disposable cash table and 1 roll on the valuable assets table. Those with wealth bonuses, roll on the wealth bonus table first. Select which of the 3 available options you wish to take for each roll, bonus to Disposable Cash roll, bonus to Valuable Assets roll, or Pot Luck.
