Fane was still out this week and Marcus, playing Isocrates had to leave early. Waleed, playing Damon, was also absent.
So I started off by fixing the timeline screw up from last week, winding time back to the point at which Dierdre transfers Isocrates outside.
Kohaku after an exhausting 66 hours of travel and rest finds herself in a shadow she can't manipulate any longer and facing a tower that resembles the tower she remembers. She drops the pattern makes her way across the plain and climbs to the ledge. Finding no way in she sits down and leans against the walls to get some rest. After picking her self up, having been thrown across the ledge, she sets her Mogwai to keep watch and tries to get some rest.
Her attempt is disturbed by two tentacles transporting Allanon and Isococrates to the tower base, and Allanons shout of "I'll come......." which fades into the distance.
Allanon casts fly and returns to the walkway. Kohaku puts Scarlet back in her? waistar, and Allanon transports her to the base of the tower.
Trying out using the pattern to determine the path of a shadow walker he attempts to reverse traverse the path Kohaku took when she returned to the shadow. As he returns from his walk he sees Kohaku and Isocrates being collected by tentacles sent by Deirdre. As they near the top of the Tower, Dierdre having recognised that one of the transportees isn't Allanon, sends another tentacle to fetch him.
Allanon and Isocrates wake in the early hours and make their way down to the hall. Only Deirdre is awake. After a couple of hours exercising they get Deirdre to transport them to the tower base. They indulge in further practice with various pattern abilities.
After lunch, Allanon gets Deirdre to transport him to the tower base. He's just about got the pattern configured to allow him to manipulating the probability of flipping a coin, when he feels a slight power surge, and a figure materializes about 15 feet from him. After a few seconds he recognizes the figure as Cordelia. They exchange a few words and Cordelia goes off to investigate the tower.
When Deirdre fetches him for dinner, and before she puts him down, he says that Cordelia is outside (he saw her as Dierdre pulled him inside) and wants to come in. Deirdre, forms another tentacle and fetches Cordelia inside.
There is a semi-confrontational introduction, Cordelia not trusting that the Logrus/Dierdre entity is indeed Deirdre and Dierdre unable to definatively prove who she is. She diffuses the situation, by suggesting to Cordelia that she meets her other guests, who are awaiting dinner. Cordelia aquiesces, and Deirdre introduces her to Sorcha and Damon.
