We manage to get most of Kohaku’s army in alive. We only lose about 50 of our total number and another 50 are injured but will recover. We all meet in the castle and meet Sorcha’s Son it has grown to look about 9 months already. Eep. He is destined to fix the pattern one day (soon I guess if he grows at this rate) The next day Cordelia says Brand is dead he died last night. 6 days ago local time. As Brand is now dead it looks like we can use trump at any time. So we head off to the tree. The tree tells us it is growing the Staff (blade) and daughter is growing the bowl. I guess she means the tree at Carnelian. We trump back to Tower and then to Carnelian, where we are met by Benedict. They say the siege was lifted about 36 hours ago. We go to the command centre and everyone is there. Fiona and Cordelia have a battle of wills but settle down in the end. As Brand is dead and the siege has been lifted the shield over the castle can be dropped. We give Fiona the second part of the book to read. We talk to the tree and the bowl will be ready in 2 moon cycles. Then Fiona scrys for Brands sword. She says in some strange tower. The tower she describes is in one of the trumps on the wall of the tower. Fiona comes with us to meet Deidre as she still does not believe it is her. We also go and see the unicorn which has 3 naked Harpies with it. We shoo them and Fiona says we should gelled the Horse I agree. But we can’t it would bleed to death and we need it. We set a guard but not sure it will work.
