Today has been interesting and puzzling. So much has happened, and yet so little is known of the situation.
Our platoon went to investigate the invasion by the bordering nation, only to find demons. Our platoon was slaughtered, and me and Draco quickly found ourselves overrun.
The abnormal time freeze occurred again, except this time I was greeted by an enormous tentacle, which grabbed me and dragged me to a mysterious tower.
At the tower I met 3 others, who like me, had been forced to this tower. A woman called Dierdre, who rested in the middle of a magical pentagram, explained that 3 of us were children of amber and the other was of chaos. She mentioned us 4 were needed to save her and our worlds.
I also discovered a huge energy source. At a glance it looked like a large painting, but Dierdre described it to be a Trump. I should look into these Trumps further, they could prove useful in my journey.
Dierdre explained a power struggle for something called a pattern had been instigated by someone called Brand and 5 demons: Rodian, The Unicorn, The Phoenix, The Serpent, and the Herberk, who now wage war.
She said, to save our worlds we would need to fix a broken pattern using an item called the serpents eye. She said a book in her grandfathers possession could aide us, but the books whereabouts was now lost.
Once the explanations were done, and to assist us in gaining the necessary knowledge and power to obtain the eye, Deidra flung us through a portal to another world.
In the new world, also described as a shadow, we met someone called Cordelia, who further explained our predicament. The Queen of Amber is also present in the room.
