For many days I have been riding in search of a suitable sword. I can feel I am gradually getting closer, however I fear that I may be attacked by the Children of Rodian before I reach my goal. I have been taking precautions and so far I have been quite lucky on that front. I have been concealing myself prior to their arrival and sleeping after their departure.
I hope the others are faring so well, they are awaiting my return in the Golden Circle and should be keeping a fairly low profile. They are going to try and find out as much as they can about the current state of Amber before we approach. Our new companion Sorcha should be keeping them out of harms way, she appears quite competent in a fight and has been given quite an impressive sword by her mother.
I am hoping by improving my skill at finding items in Amber and mind walking the pattern, that I will soon be able to return to my home shadow or at least get a message to my son. I intend to let him know the best methods of fighting these Chaos creatures and that I have not simply vanished out of existence. It may also be possible to find my own father, who I have believed dead all these years.
I am glad for this time to travel alone, it boosts my confidence with my new abilities and has allowed me to step back from the group and regain some control of my own destiny. I believe Charity is attempting to lead us to Amber for her own purposes and may be diverting us from our original goal. At best we are being led to Amber on a hunch, which may get us all killed. I will speak to Albert and see if we can come up with an alternative plan to find the Unicorn, Phoenix and book of Selheim.
